Mandy Alexander

Mandy is a native of Illinois and has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park & Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University. She has lived in Arizona for nearly six years gaining experience overseeing the communications and management of programs and events that improve communities and boost local economies through community outreach. She excels in leadership, building and implementing programs, fundraising and increasing membership, educating and communicating ideas, and using social media to spread awareness.

Mandy was elected to the SALT Board in July 2019. She also has served as SALT’s webmaster/social media guru since early 2019, and participated in a hands-on all-day trail building/maintenance training session with SALT and other volunteers in spring 2019. Though she works full-time, she is committed to SALT’s mission to conserve the Superstition Foothill and is anxious to use her skill-set to recruit others to effectively join that effort.
