Cathy Melvin

Cathy joined the SALT Board of Directors in 2024.

The past 9 years Cathy has worked as the Executive Administrative Assistant to Gila County Supervisor Woody Cline.  During this time, Cathy worked closely with Supervisor Cline in the Public Lands area, including several projects over the years dealing with forest service, game and fish, and environmental organizations and groups.  Cathy has been responsible for the preparation of various documents and projects dealing with public land agencies.

Cathy has worked with the Copper Corridor communities to procure EPA grants for blight remediation in both Gila and Pinal Counties.

Prior to her work at Gila County, Cathy worked for US Representative Ann Kirkpatrick in constituent services.  Early in her career, Cathy was with Central Arizona Association of Governments working in grants and workforce development.
