Organization	Superstition Area Land Trust (SALT)
Position Type	Volunteer leadership position – unpaid
Reports / Works With	SALT President & Executive Committee

Purpose of the Role

Create and coordinate programs that help people experience, understand and value the Superstition Foothills. This role turns SALT’s mission into recurring public experiences that educate, inspire and invite participation.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate guided hikes and educational outings.
Help organize and expand SALT’s Speaker Series.
Develop workshops, family events and youth-focused conservation activities.
Support informal educational programs such as trailhead talks.
Coordinate the annual meeting and volunteer appreciation activities.
Recruit speakers, guides, educators and volunteers who can help deliver programs.
Build and lead a small Events & Education Committee, with a goal of at least three supporting volunteers.
Work with the Marketing & Communications team so events can be promoted and their stories shared afterward.
